Two decades ago, a small group of local and international volunteers came together with a simple idea: opportunity is the best way to break the cycle of poverty. Instead of handouts, we built skills, businesses, and programs that people could take ownership of. What started as after-school support for children has grown into a thriving network of women-led businesses, fair-trade products, and community initiatives.
Today, our work spans volunteer programs, small enterprise development, and handcrafted goods—all run by the people of Marquina. The goal was never charity. It was always about creating real, sustainable opportunities for people to lift themselves up, on their own terms.
We believe in meaningful connections, and every message brings us closer to creating real change. Whether you want to volunteer, support our artisans, or just learn more about what we do, we’re here to help. Fill out the form and let’s start a conversation about how you can make an impact with Fundación Ayllu.
